Corn syrup consists mainly of glucose… a sugar capable of causing an unhealthy rise in a dog’s blood sugar. In reality, middlings are nothing more than milling dust and floor sweepings. Though it may sound wholesome, wheat mill run is actually an inexpensive by-product of cereal grain processing. The sixth ingredient lists wheat middlings… commonly known as “wheat mill run”. We do not consider generic animal fat (especially when preserved in this way) a quality ingredient. What’s worse, this fat is preserved with BHA… a suspected cancer-causing agent. Since there’s no mention of a specific animal, this item could come from almost anywhere: roadkill, spoiled supermarket meat, dead, diseased or dying cattle - even euthanized livestock. Animal fat is a generic by-product of rendering, the same high-temperature process used to make meat meals. Wheat is another problematic grain and subject to the same issues as corn (previously discussed). In any case, beef and bone meal is not considered a better quality dog food ingredient. On the brighter side, beef and bone meals are meat concentrates and contain nearly 300% more protein than fresh meat. Scientists believe this decreased protein quality may be due to the ingredient’s higher ash and lower essential amino acid content. 1īeef and bone meal has a lower biological value than most other meat meals. When the guide arrived I could not see how it could fit my router, even having two sets of different sized rod holes and rods. If not the Makita is fine for the CNC alone but there are no real advantages outside the RPM range, which I personally don't think matters much (when I rout acryllic with the DeWalt I'm set in the 50% rpm range).Secure your router or spindle with a thick and hefty mount. The DEWALT 1.25 HP variable speed Compact Router lets you determine the speed you need for the application at hand. TLDR: the DeWalt is better if you want to have it be double duty as being in a CNC router and use for hand stuff. The Makita requires two wrenches (one is specialty so you have to buy another if you lose it) and the Dewalt just has a simple button stop to lock the collet IE if you are using the router hand held, the Makita can be a "three hand affair" while the DeWalt is a "two hand affair." (Although this isn't such a problem when mounted in a CNC router.but it's not a positive) That list also lists the collet change on the Makita is better which isn't true. The difference in RPM isn't really a factor imo, with the size of bits being used in these requiring pretty high RPM to begin with. Makita stuff is good but they have not been interested in designing new products, unlike companies like DeWalt and Milwaukee who have been developing their products to have really useful features. It's also much quicker to change bits on the DeWalt. LED light and clear plastic fixed base provide. Allows quick and easy bit and base changes. It's much quieter than the Makita and the height adjustment on the DeWalt is MUCH better than the Makita. The DWP611 1 1/4 HP Max Torque Variable Speed Compact Router with LEDs has a 1 1/4 HP motor to deliver power for the toughest applications, and variable speed control for optimal bit speed in each application. Dewalt has a longer collet clamping area and collet with a greater number of slots which affords multiple precision collet options (standard ones as well as the ER-style collets from Precise Bits), Makita has a single source for a large variety of sizes of precision collets (the Carbide 3D 1/8" and 1/4" precision collets for the Carbide Compact Router will fit) and an option for a 3/8" collet (larger than the 5/16" or 8mm the DeWalt collets top out at) Hello, I havent seen one on the shelves yet, but I know that the new DeWalt DW611 trim router kit is available, with both fixed and plunge bases.Dewalt has finer-grained speed control, Makita lower and higher range of possible speeds (the lower speeds are especially useful on plastics and wood). High resolution only starts mattering when you are doing line art, after all. During the sketching phase it may also help to work on a low resolution, like 800×450 pixels. From there, slowly start building up your animation. You can import the story board frames associated with a specific clip by going to File ‣ Import Animation Frames. Try to figure out if you can subdivide your animation idea into clips of 10 seconds or shorter. Then, a 10-second clip would be 120 frames. If you are just starting out, you are best off limiting yourself to 12 frames per second. If you want to put everything together into one big animation you will need to learn how to use such a program to begin with, as Krita doesn’t have extensive video and audio montage functions.ĭoing the animatic will allow you to see how the animation can be subdivided into small clips. You are best off doing this in a video editor like Kdenlive, OpenShot, Olive, or even Windows Movie Maker. An animatic is basically the storyboard, but then animated. Then, the next step is to make an Animatic. Export the story board using the render animation option. You can make a story board by using the animation functions, but the key here is that you use as little frames as possible. If that seems a little abstract, don’t worry. These seem closer to a comic than an animation, but the key difference between the two is that in comics the composition is made to help the reader move their eyes over the page, while in animation the viewer’s eyes will stay in relatively the same spot, so consecutive storyboard frames will have their most important elements in relatively the same place. They are sketches of the basic composition of each scene, with some extra notes on what is going to move, like camera movement, character movement, notes on audio, notes on color. You can do this in any kind of text editor you like. Typically, most animation projects start with a script or at the very least an outline of actions that will happen. The storyboard docker can help you plan out the shots of a scene. Therefore, you need to take a page from professional animation and do some planning! If you don’t know what working memory is, you probably have too little to do a long sequence in Krita. This means that animation files will eat up all of your computer’s working memory (RAM). Krita is specialized in frame by frame animation, and because of this Krita keeps all the frames in memory. This docker helps you create and keep track of storyboards.įurthermore, especially when you want to do a big animation, that is, any animation longer than 3 seconds, you will need to think about how you are going to approach this. This docker allows you to do minor tweening for animation curves. This docker controls the look of the onion skin, which in turn is useful for seeing the previous frame. The layers that are created in the timeline docker also appear on the normal Layer docker. The timeline docker also contains functions to manage your layers. View and control all the frames in your animation. In traditional animation workflow, what you do is that you make Keyframes, which contain the important poses, and then draw frames in between ( tweening in highly sophisticated animator’s jargon).įor this workflow, there are three important dockers: This will make the animation dockers and workflow appear. To access the animation features, the easiest way is to change your workspace to Animation. In specific, Krita has frame-by-frame raster animation. Thanks to the 2015 Kickstarter, Krita has animation. My name is Adrian, and I write about tech topics on SoftwareHow and other sites. Over the course of her career, Swift has had a lot of rumors and conspiracy theories spread about her. GAUTNEY: Yeah, there’s songs I’d already heard that I’ve listened to without him. We’re getting into a place where it helps if one of us knows a bit about the song already, so we’re educated about what we’re talking about. Over the course of time, we see the same names.ĭo you guys ever listen to her music without each other, or is that against the rules? One is definitely the anticipation-what people ask for and want us to see. We were going to let tell us when we’ve done enough. WHITE: That’s why it’s called "Road To Becoming a Swiftie." I don’t know what makes you a Swiftie. You don’t have to be who that person is to listen to it. You can also listen to it like it’s a movie. But I also really liked the production of Reputation. We recorded one last night and I went home and played it for the next hour or two. GAUTNEY: Folklore is definitely becoming one of my favorites. she has the ability to write something off of her pain, but to write something off of fiction and show that you're really just a good writer? So far, we’ve only done “Cardigan,” which hasn’t come out yet, “August,” the trilogy, and “My Tears Ricochet.” I know she probably based some of it off of her life, but it’s not autobiographical. That’s such a lovely thing to come out of this. I’m happy that we can help people get their family members on board with the things they like, and show people it’s OK. It’s important to be yourself, enjoy what you enjoy, and not be scared. Steven and I enjoy music, and we will listen to any kind of music, no matter who it’s from, or what they look like. I don't always take into account the impact it has, but like Steven said, what you listen to-or what you enjoy-should always just be free for you to embrace. I've gotten a couple from ladies being like, “I’ve been trying to get my husband to like Taylor Swift’s music and I showed him your videos, which brought him around.” It wasn't until after that people were like, “I love Taylor Swift.”Ī lot of secret Swifties came out of the woodwork when she released Folklore. I don't think it was ever a topic of conversation, and her music wasn't really around in my family setting or in my day-to-day life-aside from the really huge songs. But it wasn't until we started covering her music that they revealed themselves. We embraced due to our love of music in general.ĭid you have any Swifties in your life before you began reviewing her music? Well, not by luck, but it was random how the series got started. It’s at six million views.ĪSHTON GAUTNEY: It happened by luck. So, he came over and I was like, “Hey, do you want to react to this Taylor Swift and Ice Spice video?” We recorded that in five minutes and posted it-and it got a lot of love and appreciation. STEPHEN WHITE: I had to borrow some dress shoes from Ashton. "At the end of the day," Gautney adds, "this is just me and my best friend hanging out." Ultimately, White and Gautney hope to get through all of Swift’s music, but they want to have fun along the way. "They’ll say, 'Day two thousand of me asking for 'Tolerate It,"" White tells me over Zoom, laughing. If you check any of their comments sections, you’ll find requests from fans begging for more reviews. Their 300,000-plus fans wouldn’t allow it, anyway. Luckily, they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Their “Right Where You Left Me” review is only one of the 40 (and counting) videos that White and Gautney have created. In one of their most popular videos, the duo reviews Swift’s post-break up anthem, “Right Where You Left Me.” After two verses, White pauses the song in shock and exclaims, “Can she chill?!” Gautney quickly replies, “She came out swingin’!” Those who’ve heard the song know they’re in for a wild ride, but half the fun, really, is watching White and Gautney experience the drama for the first time. It’s White and Gautney's nonchalant-yet witty and observant-style that makes them shine in a sea of buttoned-up critics. Despite being something of a black sheep to most people, I was really obsessed with that FF3 remake for a while. It was my first experience with Chrono Trigger which would become one of my favorite games, plus the Zenithian Dragon Quest ports/remakes, Etrian Odyssey, Rune Factory, Radiant Historia, and those Matrix Software remakes of FF3 and 4. I'm half-tempted to use this topic as an excuse to type up an essay on why I think Sonic Chronicles is actually good, but I don't know if I have the energy for that, and I don't think people are ready to hear it.īut beyond that, I loved my DS, it was an RPG powerhouse and I liked what the dual screen added to the genre by making menus more accessible and crucial information like HUDs given its own room away from the gameplay screen. My favourite games on the 3DS are as follows: Despite the confusion, I was happy about it, and spent the summer in Hyrule. We worked it out so that I would start work at a different place in the autumn, and that I had the summer free. Then, I got a call from my boss that said that there had been some kind of contractual misunderstanding, and that I was supposed to not work over the summer. It was wonderful, like finding my way back home again. I got A Link Between Worlds and Ocarina of Time 3D, as well as Zelda 1, and I binged them. I had saved up enough money at my first proper job to buy a pink version of the standard 3DS that I still own. In the summer of 2014 and with the reveal of "Zelda U", I was shaken awake yet again, reminded of why this franchise was my favourite. In regards to the 3DS, I mostly remember it for sucking me back into Zelda, after being lukewarm on the franchise across the DS games and Skyward Sword. My favourite games on the system are of course Ace Attorney, Mario Kart DS and also Tetris DS, my favourite version of Tetris shy of Tetris Effect. I made sure to not save, so that I was never found out. We were supposed to play them together, but I was so captivated that I sometimes took their DS and snuck out at night to continue on my own. But first and foremost, this was the time where I was properly introduced to Ace Attorney. After getting my own DS Lite, we played a lot of matches together with friends, and also strangers on anime conventions. They had Mario Kart DS, which I still think holds up to this day. I got really attached to Super Mario 64 DS (that they despised, they preferred NSMB) which I to this day really like and consider to be underrated. My earliest memories of the DS only started years after its release, and it includes being with my ex, who had a bunch of games that we played together. What are your favourite games on the systems, and do you have some fond memories related to those games (or others)? The DS and 3DS are wonderful machines, who kickstarted a new era of Nintendo handheld dominance, bringing fireworks and whistles in the form of touchscreen, extensive game libraries and, of course, maps. |
