The previous day we went to the Shark Valley Tram tour - it is also nice, but it is kind of an overview while this tour more in depth and offers substantially more opportunities to really look at things. This part of the tour showed a completely different face of Everglades. The airboat tour was also very interesting: the airboat driver was a real pro - handling the boat expertly. We saw plenty of birds and lots of alligators (both grown ups and babies.) Our guide - Tammy - was really good - pointing out things we would have missed and answering all questions. The walking was really great since we could stop whenever we wanted.
